The "Posts + Comments per post" part of this daily report is probably not (and probably can't be) 100% accurate nowadays, because on some dApps, for example on Musing, which is a Q&A (Questions and Answers) interface on the Steem blockchain, both the questions and the answers are considered as comments on the blockchain level, and everything (both the questions and the answers) goes into "Musing Posts" under the profile of @musing-threads.
The "Musing Posts" are the titles of the blog posts of the above mentioned Steemit account, and these blog posts are being created every day. You can find every Musing question and answer under these blog posts.
I just thought I should mention this fact to see the picture more clearly.
