It's about writing good articles to be rewarded and reading other people's good articles and giving your voice or should we also give our voices to the other articles too ?. Steemit is a platform that also gives the poor in the world an opportunity to write and earn money. And it is needed as the world has become today.
This opportunity to help others is huge at Steemit.
But keep in mind that everyone is not good at writing articles, but they may need your voice here at Steemit. With so many new members coming to Stemmit every day, it's not easy to keep track of all the articles, but we can do our best by giving them a voice. Many of us give our voices to those who earnestly earn a lot of their articles so that we will also earn even more. This means that our society gets a lot of losers and we create only several millionaires in Steemit. Remember, there may be many who try to earn a little money on Steemit who really needs it.
For those who have a lot of voting power, they can better divide much better.with giving a lot to many or much to some.

I should mention that after last weeks hard fork, it changed up the voting numbers a bit. So now they look more like:
10 - 100% votes
20 - 50% votes
100 - 10% votes
1000 - 1% votes

Technically, you can vote however much you want to. You won't reach a point that says 'out of votes'. But this is to keep you in check with the 20%/24 hour vote power regeneration rate.
1 - 100% vote now reduces vote power by 2 percent (before the hard fork these were 0.5%.)

As it is, as long as steem value keeps rising. Everyone here would be a millionaire sooner or later. Obviously the more SP the quicker that could be a reality, but there really needs to be a self upvote restriction IMO

this point is important specially for newbies because the steemit community was introduced to them as a place where they can make good money just for writing posts and commenting on others' posts
so all the newbies need to see real results here by getting some votes at the first time to come here
this will be a good incentive to continue here and keep writing and make valuable comments then by the time they will understand how the community works and will understand that they must improve their content quality to earn the trust of highly powered people and then make good money and become users wo provide a really good content
