If Steemit continues to adapt, it will succeed. If it doesn't, it'll fail. To be fair, all currencies are crashing at the moment. We will soon see a separation between coins backed by value and coins backed by smoke and mirrors. I believe Steem has value, but as stated, it must continually update to stay relevant.
