Hmmm... yes, you have a good point there about the lack of emotional connection... Like it's become an extension of Facebook or other mainstream social media site for many newcomers who haven't experienced or even realised Steemit's strong point was always community hand-in-hand with reward, not simply reward on its own. I know what you mean about replying to someone's comment and then no further discussion afterwards, and it's annoying. There did used to be a lot more dialogue than there is now. I just hope that if enough of us keep behaving the way we did in the beginning, it might catch on...?!!! A lot of people have just stopped, and understandably, but if we all stop doing or encouraging the chatting, then we'll just go further and further down this road, single file, lost in our own thoughts, rather than hand-in-hand and pondering something interesting we learned from others. If you see what I'm saying!
