The intention of the first post you read was to get a few of my friends involved that were sitting on the sidelines. Increasing the pie for the sake of increasing it I think is the ultimate aim, of course doing it unnaturally will result in problems, these tend to be fixed pretty quickly.

There was one stage where introduce yourself posts became so popular that the entire trending list was filled with them. I really lost faith at that point, the next morning it shifted... 'overnight' haha

The evolution of ideas here is pretty incredible, if you watch for long enough.
