I don't think removing the upvote button from the feed will fix the problem.

Bot's don't use buttons, they use algorithms and heuristics and then vote by interacting directly with the blockchain. The feed button is just people voting for friends.

BTW I watched the whole video. But generally I vote people I like and want to show support for and I think most others (even bot owners) feel the same way.
