Digging your enthusiasm, @ratrod69, and I think you're right that money motivation gives steemit a natural advantage over other social media networks. Also, I relate with the "normal job" conundrum. I crave the day when people devote themselves fully to passions, and leave the drywall jobs to the experts. :)

I am a journeyman and somewhat of an expert as I have been doing it for 12 years. but as I would say, 12 years too long. If only I could build Hot rods and post about the build process for others to learn. Maybe I have found that offering right here on Steemit, we shall see as the projects start.
