The internet came fast. And with it several sites that allowed us to share content with friends and people around the world. It is a great tool but somewhere along the way we started to upload our whole lives and didn't expect anything for it. It became the norm to give up your content for free. And not only that it became such a norm that now when sites compensate you in some way you feel there is something odd about it. It is a mentality shift that needs to change.
Your content is worth something. And you need to realize that before any one else does. When you are ready to share it make sure you are using it in the way you want to. If you are using a site that will not pay you then make sure you are promoting yourself and are not giving away too much. Try out sites like steemit which can reward you for your work. Other sites will not pay you for your content, no matter how well it does.
Now you won't get rich overnight and it is a very competitive world online. You will need to learn how a site works and utilize it properly to be successful. Just keep in mind that your content is something that has worth and just because it was the norm that is was given out for free in the past does not mean it should continue to do so. We are entering a new age with crpytocurrency and it is up to us to get ready for it.
I was on a cryptocurrency forum - the first platform I actually participated wholeheartedly in. It took me a while to realize that all the posting and news and effort I was putting in there was more for the benefit of the people who owned the website than for anybody else.
I spent around a couple of hours their everyday and didn't earn a penny there. Took me a several weeks to see the light but by that time I had come to steemit and perhaps that was a reason for me becoming aware of my mistake.
Steemit has paved the way for the world.
People will realize it pretty quickly

Like you've said here one needs to keep his eyes dot and crossed to see new things and to learn in here, I agree with that coz success comes at first by learning and in turn making it. Great work from you it worth reading and reading over again it is a life time encouragement.
