Ask a Motorcycle Mechanic on steemit!

Troubleshooting motorcycle repair problems is my specialty and now possible from the comfort of your own steemit. No longer do you need to schedule an appointment with a mechanic. Now you can get answers to your motorcycle repair questions or advice from a certified technician on steemit. Ask me and I will reply to your comment with a solution ASAP!

How does it work? Simple!

I am here to help you with your ATV or Motorcycle related questions. I wont discriminate, whether your motorcycle is a 50cc 2stroke or a 1970's Flathead I will be happy to help you.

Currently I steemit for a full time living and wanted to bring one of my most valuable skills to the table. I have over ten years working experiencing in the trade and have worked for the likes of Kawasaki, Suzuki , Triumph and Vespa to name a few.

I am proud to bring this valuable skill and my work experience onto steemit. I looking forward to being able to give you my best advice.

What do I need from you?

Important: To successfully begin to diagnose and troubleshoot, I will need some basic info from you. To help things along I would appreciate the following information with your comment.

  • Make and Model
  • year

And then obviously your related question?

Also you can follow me @virtashare as I will be reposing this as necessary.

Thank you very much for your support and up-votes, however please for the love of motorcycle's ask me something, anything I will be more than happy to oblige.

I got a question right of the bat.
How do I clean a rusty chain ?

Got this chain recent, only put some spray on once every 5 weeks and very quickly it got rust on it.
I realy dont know what is the best way to get it off.
Can you help me with that ?
:)

You can try soaking it in vinegar then brushing off the rust that comes off. Be sure to wash it thoroughly with water after you're done. I hope this helps :)

Seen as I am already being paid and have not yet been able to offer my services to the steemit community, I am posting this pic to offer some educational value to my post. Below is a animated representation of how a 4-stroke internal combustion engine runs and opporates. Enjoy

Nice man !
I am totally new here but the topic is right in my street.
I ride a motorcycle for about 25 years now but I am such a noob when it comes to maintenance and repairs.
I can fix computers but not motorcycles ;)
Great chance I will come back here soon with some questions, thanks
