About being on the same level, never say never. I am just hoping it will be a platform for people willing to invest in the platform and in the content on it. I used to use Facebook more as a newsstream but since I discovered steemit I barely opened facebook. Quality of the information is just higher here most of the time. I am a bit afraid that when the 'sheeple' find out about steemit the quality/quantity ratio of the posts will become worse..
