They only let posts through that are posative info about steemit or involve tits. Allot of this will be solved once there are the equivalent of sub-reddits. more focused, smaller communities which will allow steemers to filter out the posts that dont interest them.
The inherent nature of the voting system doesnt allow for the success/visibility of long-form content, since it gets drowned out by pics of hot chicks.
I firmly believe that there is high demand for thoughtful quality posts, there just needs to be a better way for consumers to find them.
Edit: I guess what I really mean is a customizable front page similar to reddit. Its too much of a chore for me to navigate to a topic of interest on Steemit.

people starting to realize that it is a ponzi i guess

Still steem is up quite a bit, Its still so young week hands are exiting their profits and spreading the steem. I see this as a good thing..

It's more the case that Steem had such a meteoric rise that it would be more strange if it didn't see a selloff in the short term. Look at the left side of your chart where it went up more than 1000% in the span of a few days. That it's down about 50% since then still leaves it 5x higher than where it was.

All cryto has there ups and downs, even the USD , they all go up & down! It's why your supposed to buy low sell high. This is a normal process in all currency .
