Given the diversity here on Steemit I'd say it's more important to "build" your audience. For instance, I'm into Hip Hop, so I search the hashtag and interact and get to know the community, then I share and hashtag. Creat initiatives for your Steemit Community and help build each other up. I'm sure everyone thinks they produce great content, and who are we to judge them?
