Use Steemit via Steemitstage
Currently we experience outage of the platform - at least via steemit.com and also busy.org have issues. Some can post it seems, commenting is not working for me at least, always get broadcast errors like that:
What works is steemitstage.com which is the official frontend the Steemit developers.
Officially Steemitstage.com is a stage server for Steemit, here the platform developers release their new features and test them before releasing it to the actual server. As said it is secure but always use your Private posting Key - never ever the active key. You can login with your usual credentials.

Steemitstage.com ist das Frontend der Entwickler von Steemit.com - also dem Betreiber, unserer geliebten Platform - diese wird primär zu Testzwecken genutzt um neue Features und Ähnliches zu testen. Immer wenn es Performance Probleme wie Transaction Broadcast oder Gateway Errors gibt nutze ich Steemitstage - Einloggen wir auf Steemit.com - aber nutzt besser nur Euren privaten Posting Key dafür. Aber die Site ich genau sicher wie Steemit.com - ist nur ein anderes Frontend. Bin gespannt woran die aktuellen Schwierigkeiten liegen, bestimmt erzählt uns @sneak bald was dazu.

hmmm... kann mir gut vorstellen, dass sich das System einfach abgeschalten hat mit kurzem remark: "zu viel MÜLL gepostet" .... könnte durchaus sein, wenn man so in die Cryptoanalysen schaut :)

Hey Uwe, how are you doing? I have been using Steemitstage for a while now, and I can't believe how much more responsive this site is in comparison to Steemit and Busy.
Depends... but lately has been quite great to be honest. At least from New Zealand side.
I used it when the attack has been - it is indeed faster - think normal as less traffic vs. the official frontend. How are you mate?

We got some new snow overnight so went sliding with kids - now trying to catchup on steemit a bit hoping the price is stopping its decline over night lol
Oh, man, sliding is cool, but I hope that's winter's last push :) The price stabilized!
are there security concerns using this site?
I don't think so, as Steemitstage is an official test site. Or something like that. If you are worried about security, you can always log in using your posting key :)
I guess I should look at Steemitstage. I keep forgetting it's there. Doesn't seem to be listed on Steem Projects
Maybe as they do not see it as project but internal test environment - cool site btw - new to me - checking out some of the sites there

Thanks for introducing Steemitstage. Is it safe? I've been having these transaction broadcast errors as well. I hope the developers continue to clean up this platform! Is anyone else experiencing any other issues?
yes, should be all safe -but to make sure always use posting key only just in case!

Ich hab die Site damals als es die Attack hab zum ersten mal genutzt - schön, dass ich Dir mal helfen konnte @soldier - was machen die Choreos und die Appics ICO Preps? Hoffe alles gut!?
Das Appics Team ist momentan in San Francisco auf dem Token Fest und bis zum ICO ist es ja auch nicht mehr lange. 👌🏼Alles läuft super und für das Tanzen hatte ich in den letzten Monaten leider wenig Zeit, doch das wird sich bald ändern..

Jetzt ließ sich mein Post uploaden. Ich war sehr dankbar für deinen informativen Post, konnte ihn aber nicht resteemen. Ich habe ihn auf einigen Discord Channels weitergegeben und auf meinen externen Steemit Seite. Mit dem Einstieg auf Steemitstage sah ich mich überfordert, aber egal. Offensichtlich sollte man sich alles Keys irgendwo extra notiert halten für solche Pannen. Jetzt dürfte auch mein Upvote klappen. Nochmals danke.

Da in der Beta-Version noch regelmäßig Performance Probleme gibt, ist es echt ein guter Tipp, danke dafür.
Für mich sind die Perfomance Probleme aber nur ein Zeichen dafür, dass Steemit noch ein junges und sich ständig weiterentwickelndes Netzwerk ist, und das ist das geile an Steemit. Deshalb sind die gelegentlichen Probleme mehr als verziehen. :)
Das hoffe ich doch auch - Beta dauert recht lange, aber da kenn ich andere längere Beta Phasen :-)

Good to know that steemitstage.com was available. If anyone wants to know why this happened yesterday , then I can offer some insight. Projects like mine were born to address issues with resource allocation like the one we faced yesterday. Thanks for sharing uwelang. Got my upvote
