May I suggest that neither resteem or follow ought to become automated - it would be better to provide a feed iniside your interface where I can see stream of posts by others using @shadowbot

• The feed can perhaps include a tag feature to fine tune this feed
• A selection of how much information to provide (1, 2, 5 lines example)
• whether to have images shown in the summary
• a button unfollow or follow (unfollow will obviously imply I am already following)
• a button to re--steem from the summary page or to see more detail on steemit or busy.org

This way, the process of supporting by re-steem or to follow will be made easier but not left to an automation. I guess you would also gather more support and use of the site this way because these fucntions are sorely needed I think.

Such a feed would obvioulsy have passed your own filters so I would probably spend more time there than on the main site in the end.
