Your advice is good. Your paintings are good too. I wish I could opt to follow you, but examining your stats, you don't interact a lot and you only follow 64 people. This doesn't gel with the main gist of your advice i.e. interacting and being part of a community .. as a short task, would you explain the idiom, 'practice what you preach' - if you have the time or inclination to do so, of course

I agree with your words and I would like to add a tiny disclaimer in order to explain my self about that... See, I am a concept designer, and luckily or not I worked already for Warner Brothers, The Mill, Nether Realm, etc. Achieving this point in arts doesn't come easily and let me explain what I mean by this:
I don't play video-games, most of times I just don't go out because the amount of work I have and if I don't have work I just stay practicing at home to get a little bit further in the quality of my work. I don't open Facebook's feed because I don't want to lose those five minutes, I stopped using instagram because I couldn't avoid check the feed. And here in Steemit the problematic is kinda the same for me: I like to make content, and I always try to keep it fresh. Every time someone asks me about an advice or a review of their artworks or project I give my support. Not to say, I keep my contact with most of steemians through other applications such as Discord and other chats. But honestly I do nothing related to curation.
As a last point I express my support to the community mainly related to arts, you will see that most of my fellow steemians are artists that are looking for advices and a way to get better on their works, because this is what I know about the most.
Atm I gotta go but I saw your other comment on another post, I will reply to it as soon as I'll be back, thanks for your dedication and your critique to my person. It helps me to get better as a human and as a steemian =)
I concede to your opinion and explanation. Of course, we are all in different circumstances. At the moment I am on my first day of actual winter vacation - the past two weeks I have enjoyed a bit more time to curate than usual, as I was preparing lessons for the coming semester (I teach). So, our free time does fluctuate a lot - and I understand what you say completely. I don't use many of the sites for the very same reasons.
Please accept my regrets for sounding a judgemental. I had read another post in which you lamented people not upvoting etc. The complete picture is that there are far far far too many people abusing the system, trolling for follows, leaving silly comments and doing as you say, not even upvoting your post. Such comments also do so much to waste our valuable time and annoy us, don't they? We are just human afterall.
I enjoy your drawings and so I will follow for the enjoyment of it. I have a few friends in mind who enjoy using the GIMP in wonderful was too. Perhaps they will find interest and have the skill to interact with your material more than myself.
Thanks for your genuine reply too. It has done much to encourage me in thinking that there are actually humans and we do outnumber the bots, scammers, spammers, etc. Take care and may the force of your God be with you.
Thanksv@trumanity! I honestly love your dedication to these replies, this is the why i happily upvote them!
I think that inwas very angry with those people who abuse from the system and take a cut of 20% or more from the reward pool. I must apologize with people to be honest. It wasn t because of them.
No need to apologyze, although i would like to apologyze for my reply before since it was very selfish, but honest non the last. It may or not help, but i also have my SP delegated, so my influence here eoesn t really die with me =)
