How Long Is It Before We Start Seeing Automated Bots ? And all of Steemit is Worthless ! With a very new platform like this, and the giant opportunity to make money- at one point we are going to be seeing a lot of spam along with automated bots to up vote the posts... The entire community will be destroyed, and it will be a saturated platform with no value to any living thing! I'm not saying that this is necessarily going to happen, but lets take Facebook for an example: there is a lot of bots out there that can subscribe, comment, like ect. so consider moving that bot over to Steemit. People will be having making crazy money, that is until the value drops down and it is just another saturated spam filled 'money making' platform. Tell me what you think about this ?
And, even if Steemit seems to have great protection against bots, what stops people from making exchange sites like we currently see with YouTube? You up-vote someones post and you get a up-vote in return. I know this was just a short post, but it would be interesting to see what other people think on this!
I do also hope that devs will find a way to mitigate what You just highlighted. They look to be pretty sound people and for sure are aware about that.

There's already many bots active on steem. Some are spamming, and some are working against spam.
It's up to the users to downvote spam and keep the network clean.

There are a lot of concerns, but it is hard to know how Steemit will evolve. It is just a couple weeks old.
The same story as with Bitcoin. Some said it will die or what ever else, many time. But others just pushed and look what happened. Now we have a global decentralized Economy. Decentralized worldwide nation which power increases more and more.
I think to talk about possible apocalyptic scenarios is nice for the preparation of possible problems. But never it should become the concern above the evolution, development and overall advancement that could be made in coming years.
