Thanks for the info! Let me ask you, if one grabs the link to the picture online, [example](link back to source), are you still infringing copyright if the site you linked to doesn't own the image even if that's where you saw it and grabbed it?
I understand the reason behind these suggestions about protecting content, but I am not sure how enforceable this is. The time spent trying to find the sources to the imagine or usable images may be better spent in getting the message across. Can you waive yourself by leaving a note at the bottom of the article stating you do not own the images?

In some cases copyright is infringed upon and this is very bad. However, it's usually not really as much about copyright as it is about assumption of ownership, and giving credit where credit is due -- especially on a platform that is based on rewarding content.
Leaving a note that the images are not your own is a weak way of doing this, yes, however most community members source each image to give credit to the original photographer, creator, etc. It shows good faith, and will likely lead to more support!
