This article is controversial but it is true we have been on steemit for nothing at all. Steem is a very hi-tech cryptocurrency that will soon be use and widely accepted. THE PROBLEM IS WE TRADE STEEM TOO MUCH!!! We trade steem for Ethereum , Bitcoin, and Ripple Which devalues Steem. Whales dump their cash or steem and the company suffers and the coin. Steems prices is so low it is easily obtainable on the other hand Bitcoin is worth more than gold. Steem could be worth money but when whales cash out steem looses value.
To wrap things up, stop cashing your steem dollars out because we are ultimately killing the platform. Also follow me @tomahawk429 and upvote my articles.

That may be a part of the problem of low steem value, but we all need to make Steem desirable like Bitcoin, and an easier process to purchase.
Steemit har a long way to go to be even close to sites like Reddit and Facebook in terms of user friendliness. While the good guys at Steemit and https://beta.chainbb.com work in improving the user experience too get ready for mass adoption, let us current users continue creating interesting content.

The whales who have invested in the platform (not those who mined steem before launch), have the right to power down for whtasover reason. While it further devalues steem, the focus shouldn't be on the whales powering down but rather on how to incentivizes powering up. Why should I buy steem? How will I benefit from powering up? What plans are there to improve the steemit platform. How long will it take? Why would people adopt steem other than other altcoins?
The amazing thing about building a social media platform on the blockchain, is that it opens a gateway for exposing the rest of the world to cryptocurrencies. Some people will learn about steem and sbd before they've ev heard the word "bitcoin" . I believe steemit will play a significant role in exposing the rest of the world to adaptation and to the benefits of cryptos and the its inderlying distributed ledger tech.

If you can make people think, laugh or amaze with a post and when I'm excited everytime you post something to read then I would upvote you and follow you.. if not an post shit I won't.. if still not and post shit and start to cry out loud I will even mute you... and also if you yourself participate in vote trials and vote 1% being a minnow I will even more mute you.. so I have been through those emotions in the beginning aswel.. but if you don't be social and communicate to people even if they comment on you then you will always be in the cry modus and keep on hating. so if that is who you want to be on this site then I would recommend staying on facebook or something
I try to talk Steem to my wife and she takes it as a "Steemy" conversation and I then must succumb to the queen and I never get to finish my Steem transaction... online anyway!
I take 50/50 and I must take every month 120 steem out .
But same I tray grow mt steempower also . If my post go more up I can make more steempower .
And I like very steemit, It has opened me a very big door.

well if you look at the price before june, it is still way much up because beginning this year the price was about 0.30 dollar cent so I think your argument is valid. Also the more content and activity, the more steem there will be. People are buying into the bitcoin uptrend but that is slowly ending and there will be a giant correction once people start to sell bitcoin and buy into alt coin again so chill out and don't panic. the only time people are valid to panic is when they entered as whales in june and now are dolphins
BTC finally draws back and goes sideways and BCC steals the show. The Alt coins cannot win!

It is true. Good post. Whales must have invested heavily, so naturally the return, they would withdraw. But investing in other cryptocurrencies by selling SBD / Steem will lead to inflation resulting weak steem.
