Hi guys, two nice updates today:
You Can Choose To Refund SBD, STEEM Or Both
Following the @improv request I have added an option to allow user to refund just SBD or just STEEM.
So the refund memo will work as always, it will refund both SBD and STEEM. If for some reason you want to refund only STEEM or SBD part of your investment, please use memo:
- refund steem
or - refund sbd
Status Update
The status command will now also display information about how much SBD and how much STEEM was invested. Might be useful when deciding about refund :)
I sended 2SBD to tipu, but in two distinct transfert.
But seem like i only receive one of the upvote why?

yes, I thought it would double the upvote :/ guess i was wrong
But a steem user, @tipU in this case, can upvote a post only once :) it can not make 2 upvotes that will sum to a one bigger vote :)
Having said that, @tipU should automatically refund the second payment - will check that out.

By the way - I've tested one of the bid bots (@appreciator) and received x1.7 upvote - not that great, compared to x2 that @tipU offers.
Question to investors - do you think it's time to lower the upvote multiplier in order boost investors payouts? Seems that the latest STEEM price drop lowers the upvote for bidding bots, while @tipU stays at x2.

Yeah, appreciator has been shitty of late. I usually got at least, 2.4...tried it today, got 1.7, earlier, 1.8. What is the current rate? Still 2.1? Or the 2.0 I'm seeing there?
2.0 :) but because of the STEEM price drop I'm thinking about adjusting it to be comparable with other bots.

As you know @cardboard all tokens go up and down like yo-yo's. Changing the parameters could become a daily chore...no?
Finding an optimum threshold if that is even possible in such a volatile system is probably a fruitless task.
Changing to be in line with the other bots has marginal utility and being the highest paying service is tipu's USP.
I'd say stick with the current setup although on the last few attempts to use the bot. I've been unsuccessful and had to send bids to the competition.

I would say lower it. The services similar to this give less than 1.9 but do vary (smartmarket and minnow booster), to test just sent like 0.1 SBD as see what you get in upvotes. The rest are bid bots which give even less usually. So in terms of value tipu is far better, and would still be far better at x1.95 but I imagine it would even be better at x1.9. Demand is far greater than supply atm so I think it can be done and votes would still sell out.
1.77 (3.53 in upvotes for 2 SBD sent) is the current smartmarket rate and usually minnowbooster is very similar. So lower to 1.9 should be fine.

Yep, I'm working on it :) the only problem is that I'm adding new stuff so the guide gets outdated. I'm thinking about doing something like @tipU help - and then @tipu responds with the comment that has basic commands.
That feature would the best option imo

Seems that you've missed the "voting window" by about 20 minutes. I'm sorry, but I can not control the fact, that lots of people want to use @tipU service at the same time.
I can not limit the demand, I can only adjust the supply but in the same time I don't want users to loose money on @tipU service (like it's happening now on many bidding bots).
But, is this sustainable? This is a global business, people live in different time-zones... 20' seems a very narrow window to channelise the demand... as well I noted that, sometimes you refund part of the bid because you cannot upvote with your announced 200% return...
What would be your "perfect point of performance", I mean delegated SP, vs. sustainable vote? Did you think about?
Well, the last voting session lasted 20 minutes because a lot of people wanted to use @tipU service at the same time and the amount of available votes was quickly used - I have little control over this :) With STEEM price going up and more delegations it should be better.
The main reason for refund is that @tipu will spend more voting power on new and interesting posts.

So, it triggered payout, which i didn't intend, but no big deal... but also it seems that it sent sbd for the steem payout instead of the steem and it sent it at 1:1, which isn't the exchange rate?
The payout is made automatically when you make refund - the idea is that if you want the money back, you don't want to wait for next scheduled payout :)
As for the payout on demand - you're right, SBD was send instead of STEEM. Will fix it in a moment :)

Hello, I've sended @tipu first delegation of 40SP. And a day or two latter I Invested another 16SP . Witch seemed to made the bot confused and he only recognized my last 16Sp delegation and my first Delegation has disappeared. I tryed to refund but only got those 16SP back and my 40SP is still delegated to your bot. I would like to get those missing SP back please.
