Do you value your content here on Steemit? Can you make a solid business out of your hard work in the real world. of course you can, but YOU need to be your biggest fan first. After all, if you don't value your own work, why would anyone else appreciate it?
Here on Steemit, us content creators have been gifted with the long forgotten appreciation for making and sharing all things creative. We've been taken advantage of for so long in the real world and on social media, often being made to create and share high quality content for free. That game has now changed and this platform is becoming an incredibly valuable source in the creative world.
Value yourself, value your hard work and you'll find the true value and validation that what you create, is worth something. Be confident in your work and your style and find an audience to connect with.

Very very true what you mentioned here.
I don't know if you will agree with me, but I see life as a mirror or as a reflection of us, our thoughts and beliefs.
If we deep down doubt ourselves and don't percieve our art/creativity as worthy of people's attention, well then it won't be.
So the key is to really appreciate and believe in yourself first, when you do that, you allow other people to believe in you as well. :)
You sir, are exactly right! Thanks for stopping by and leaving some great words here.
Confidence doesn’t come easy to some people but this platform I think gives a really good boost to your personal value, and it’s great to see people embrace that to validate their hard work.
The cheeky line the companies use is that you're working for 'exposure', especially when it comes to Photography.
Yes!! I’ve never known shops to take exposure to pay for my food, and I can’t pay rent in exposure or insta like. Haha, it’s like, yeah I’ll get ‘exposure’ or ‘likes’ but you’re making money on my skill, seems fair right?
Very good and valuable suggestions and I appreciate your inspiring words for the beginner like me.
Nice.....very useful.Thanks
This is very true, especially when it comes to creating content. Many people will not bat an eye at your own content. It's important that you value what you produce because sometimes the only fan you will have at times is yourself and if you aren't satisfied with your content, you will become more unlikely to continue to pursue it. Some deep stuff there and a good reminder. Thanks!
One day I will brave enough to value my own content. Thank You so much for the motivational and wise words. :D Always on point :D
Definitely! Steemit is a place that takes everything awesome about social media and rewards the people who should be rewarded. Consider just how much value is in an audience, all you have to do is look at the revenues for Facebook ads, we ALL have value on here and any social media. I'd much rather get a little of my value back in the way of rewards!
YES YES YES YES!!! We are valuable, all of us. Some of us just don't see it and as you have said it yourself...some of us criticize ourselves. So, we need to appreciate the work AND the talent that we have, which we actually contribute to the world!!
Thank you Tim for sharing this with us because it is truly important to know this.
Winny out...for now ;)
On the grind to see that full time goal! Great points, Tim.
