You made a smart move by switching to community curation. This, on the other hand, is a step backwards. If it's about visibility, Steemit.com should finally implement a similar promoted model as the one used by SCOT Tribes. Same goes for other popular frontends.

Agree about steemit - but they're not doing it and I think there is a place for advertising your content, especially for businesses. Once steemit introduces some usable form of promoting your content I'll be happy to switch it off ;)
Also don't worry, no one is using it ;)
what's the one used by the tribes, please give me a link to read. I'm not so much into tribes and I still want to promote my posts somehow.
