I wrote my best post on the intelligence algorithm today and it goes completely unnoticed. This is so disencouraging that I contemplate quiting posting on steemit. If post less good stuff it sometimes does get rewarded. It does not make sense to me. I like yr posts btw, Baerdric.

See, I saw that and meant to go back and read the previous posts on that subject (which is a huge interest of mine). But how can we read everything? There's so much stuff!

I reckoned you would like it, since you also value quality content. Perhaps we should start an alternative to steemit specialised in quality content, where rewards are proportional thereto and voting power is solely linked to reputation.
Someone (maybe @smooth?) wrote that this is a popularity contest, not a quality one. When we start to think about it that way, we won't feel so hard when our posts has not much attention as others.
