Here's a detailed overview of what each number means:

• Potential Author Payout Is the sum of your earnings steemit displays under your posts.
• Estimated Earnings Is the estimated payout you would receive after 7 days exchanged into the selected currency, next to it it's the same in SBD.
• Exchange Is the current exchange rate of 1 SBD
• 1H Hourly change of the exchange rate in percentage
• 24H Daily change of the exchange rate in percentage
  I hope this helps to understand the values a little better.

Another thing to understand is that the prices displayed under each post are not USD dollars they are Steem Dollars which is the site's own currency. This is the potential value of the post or comment. The earnings are currently way more than that due to the high exchange rates. One post that worth $10 steem dollars may actually pay out 10 times of its value because of the exchange rate.
The final dollar value could be easily calculated by the following formula:
(SBDx0.75x0.5)xUSD Exchange Rates of 1 SBD

Which is with $10 SBD and the current $10 exchange rate
(10x0.75x0.5)x10 => 37.5 USD
