In the chats, people have been told. but i think that chats is were there is more danger than on steemit. cos someone can easily impersonate in the chats. So its always good to ask username of a steemian in the dm, if you dont know them and have them post something on their account on steemit, maybe a comment, so you can know they are the one or just pray and entertain no fears.
