5 things I've Learned on my 1st week Using the Steemit Platform

I recently came across Steemit with the interest of buying various cryptocurrencies, not just any Cryptos, I like to buy Cryptos that have a couple years in the game, and have some sort of working platform, not just HYPE.

I have been in the Crypto game since 2014 when a guest at our Resort in Nicaragua offered to pay with Bitcoin for a 2 week stay. He gave us 1 Bitcoin at the price of $800 at the time to stay for 2 weeks. We were skeptical at first to accept but we did our due diligence and decided to accept it. Since then we have been hooked.

Fast forward a few years later and not only do we have The successful Bitcoin giant, now we have many of the Top Altcoins that could perhaps become the next candidate. And I believe a platform that can disrupt Social Media is the next big thing, which is why I love Steemit! Here are a few things I have learned as a noobie on the Steemit Platform so far in the 1st week.

1. The "Introduceyourself" Tag

This is the most effective Tag when you start off on your first blog. Use this tag to gain more followers and also to comment to other new Users. This will build up your followers and your Reputation points. Don't use this tag more than 5 times on your posts or it will be reported as SPAM.

2. Dtube

Link your Steemit account with Dtube to post your videos and also make money. Dtube has the exact replica platform as YouTube so if you are familiar with Youtube (which you probably are) then you can easily navigate with Dtube. A great person to follow for Dtube advice and how to upload videos in you have any issues is @reseller . I learned from him that Firefox works the best to upload videos.

3. Powering UP

You can view the PowerUp option in your Wallet. In order to Power Up you will need to have transferred Fiat currency into STEEM, then you can easily convert your STEEM tokens into the PowerUp option. Basically what Steem Power does is give you more voting influence (giving out more vote $$ ) But if you choose to convert your STEEM tokens to the PowerUp option you will not be able to access those funds for 13 weeks if you tried to withdrawal it. 4. Making Friends

If you want to be an active user and build up your account you will need to post at least 1 blog a day. After or before posting your blog you should also make it a habit to comment on 10 other users accounts. Spend a bit of time finding and commenting on people that interest you, because those people can eventually become your followers. Don't copy and paste the same thing on everyone's account, this could lead to Spam and have your account suspended. Keep the community clean.

5. There are NO Haters

The reason why I love this platform is that everyones comment are positive, there are no troll trying to bring you down or hate on everything you do. The reason why there are no haters is because everyone is trying to build their votes up which eventually makes them more money. If you talk negative you can be downvoted by the community and eventually get kicked off the platform. This is the why I am hooked on this site, not only because people make money from it, this will revolutionize the negative social media site and eliminate FAKE NEWS!
