RE: Daily Steemit Faucet post for 3rd January 2018 **FAUCET CLOSED**

One of my favorite quotes:
“Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with.”

figures I found you here...and quoting Ayn Rand too!!!

Nice to see you! @sydesjokes has made steemit more fun and social for me. I'm very thankful. I just did my very first transfer today! lol!! Also- I'm a member of the steemit facebook group too. https://www.facebook.com/groups/157339221704155/

You're braver than I am ;) I'm already too involved in steemit, no time for FB or twitter! Don't you find all this social media too time consuming? I found myself spending so much time on steemit that I'm beginning to think I'm addicted. If at least that time was spent on exchanges, but no, it's all about trying to figure out how things work, get dtube to work, try out the other platforms etc..maybe one day i'll actually be able to contribute

The transfer was SUPER easy. Just 2 clicks. I come and go from the computer throughout the day checking replies are scanning thru feeds commenting, liking, etc... then back up and going the grocery store, working in the garden, bike ride with kids, cooking, whatever. Yes I might be getting addicted to Steemit- I have to actually pick a solid time to sit down and study or research something. I need to find out about steemd.com and why it mentions how much broadband I have- what does that even mean? How really does this voting thing work, etc.... D.tube does not share well. I upload there but it is wonky for sure. Steemit is the most fun! I love meeting awesome people like you!

As you can see I'm still here, so definitely addicted, lol. I went to look at dmania, busy, dtube (i can't get that beast to work, doesn't keep my subscriptions and refuses to play some videos. don't know where to find help either), utopian-io, all these platforms are on steem platform and there are supposed to be others as well. I don't know about steemd, when i go there it puts me into steemit. I thought steemd was for witnesses only, could be wrong though..that might explain the broadband as you'd probably need extra juice for witnessing. Seeing that you're ayn rand fan, did you see the atlas sh movies?

My goodness- I don't even know what dmania or utopian is. I thought the "busy" tag was for posts where the person was busy, or lots of busy stuff going on. lol! Thanks for telling me about those! The steemd says how much voting power you have- but I still don't understand it. No have not seen the movies. I don't watch movies very often (usually only when my husband takes the kids out of town to see the in-laws in Houston)- I shall put Atlas Shrugged into the NetFlix DVD queue. Thanks for the idea!

i'm getting intermittent broadband limit errors so might be slow/late in my activities. NO! don't watch the atlas shrugged movie, while i admire the efforts of the people who put it together, it is a disappointment especially if you'd read the book. watch out for busy because while the interface is nicer than steemit it will upvote every post you make there with YOUR OWN power, not nice :(
