Midway Dolphin

When I first ventured onto Steemit.com last year, I thought I would remain a minnow for a long time. I quickly realized how game changing this platform would be, so I made some fish moves and kept on steeming. Then I slowed down for a bit early in the year due to some unforeseen changes. Once I navigated those rougher waters, I continued my STEEM quest . Now I find myself about half way through Dolphin Life. I hope to continue blogging and supporting the network on my way to growing into an young Orca.

Here is a picture i drew in pencil then digitally edited, hope you guys like it. If anyone want to use it or edit, please feel free, just tag me if you do.

bwaahahahaha!!!! @hastla

Dang he is getting it lol. I wish someone would show me some dolphin love like that here on Steemit. :)

Congrats on your success. You was one of the first people I followed here. Thank you for the updates and drawings.

Thanks @joeyknowsbest I very much appreciate that.

No problem at all.
Steem on.

Congratulations on your growth! Hope to read a similar post this time next year about how you went from dolphin to full grown whale :)

Big thanks for that @wiser I wasn't even thinking that far ahead or big, but you are right, it is very possible!!

full steem ahead!

Congrats....Just as I'm moving out of minnowdom

Glad to see that things are going well @immetal6669 The journey is long but filled with adventure.

full steem ahead!

Did you make it there just by authoring content, or did you also invest into some steem directly? just curious. thanks.

I actually have done both, and continue to do both @gurudeva My goal is Whale Status before I taking anything out!! Well That is my new goal anyway.

Hey I feel the same way right now, I'm a baby minnow trying to swim my way up the lake. I feel though with this new hard-fork though it might make it easier for minnows to evolve a quicker rate (that's dependent on their activity too). But that's a awesome feeling of feeling like your leveling up!

Thanks @blackamine Glad to hear that things are also scaling up for you (haha). And yes, this new hardfork, while it last, will help everyone that is active.

full steem ahead!

Congratulations, happy for you but most importantly, it inspires minnows and shows that it's possible.

Yes @alexthemagician It is very possible. I have seen others do it so I know it is possible. Might not be easy for most, but then again, what really is?

full steem ahead!

I guess anything that is worthwhile ain't going to be easy. You saw others do it and we are seeing you doing it now. Thanks for showing that it's possible :)

Hey, good for you! It's inspiring to see people who have been here for a while making it after putting in the time and effort. I've only been here for around 10 or so days so far and have found that it's quite addictive and I love it, but it's definitely hard getting the visibility early on. I truly believe that if I just stick with it, support others and build positive relationships on here, things will work out well for me too. It definitely takes work but I feel it will be well worth it in the end.

So, good luck in your continued efforts....and....nice dolphin pic too :)

Yes @jen8 It does take some work. I at first was overly excited and wanted to get noticed, but then I slowed down and just did my thing. The most Important of all is making connections and friends on here. Staying active, communicative and consistent, and a year or two from now, and you will be glad you did.

full steem ahead!

Yes, I can relate to being overly excited at first. Looking back on just the first few days, I think I was posting a bit too much. Now I'm starting to slow down a bit and do exactly what you said, just relate to people & make connections rather than thinking I need to put out two or so blog posts every single day. Plus, this is a bit easier/more mellow and I can slow down and just enjoy myself and talk to people more. I'm still going to keep doing blog posts too, but I might just keep the pace a bit slowed down going forward and take more interest in what others are posting and interacting with them that way.

Cheers and steem on!

I figured I would not be alone in being an eager beaver, it is so easy to do when you get started here at first. Glad you have found your groove on here @jen8 !!

That's the advice I was given...today is day 1

I would not have believed what has transpired in the last several years myself had I not actually lived them @darkistouch

full steem ahead!

Keep it up and you'll get to be a whale in no time, man! Also, that's a pretty nice sketch, by the way :)

Thank you @deadspace I never had any real formal training or school, just something I always have done as a pass time instead of just doodling when killing time. I wonder what some serious schooling and more importantly belief in myself would have done. Anyhow, again, thank you.

How often do you sketch/draw, if you don't mind me asking? I've seen a few people on here with no formal training or schooling for it improve heaps by doing 1-2 sketches a day for around a year. Big self improvement is definitely possible if you have the interest/time for it, and you're at a pretty good starting point. You're for sure a lot more talented at sketching than I am, haha!

not often enough. This one was actually done on a wall, something I had never done before, well the second one I had done on a wall. I will edit the first one I ever did on a wall. Steemit just brought it out in me. It has alway been there just no time or reason to dig out but for Steemit.

Well, hell man. Keep it up! Even if you only have the time do a sketch every few days, keep doing them! Share them here with us! You'll get better and better as time goes on, and I'm sure everyone here would enjoy seeing your work, bud! Just gave you a follow so I can keep an eye out for when/if you do :)

Thanks @deadspace Much appreciated.

Of course, bud! Take it easy until then, and have a wonderful evening, dude!

Just going thru ur all post all r so good and interesting

Thanks a lot @arorapuneet

Welcome ....expecting some new post every day ...

how do you tell what level you are? what is the Sp of orca? and of dolphin etc?

The link is broken right now @thefinanceguy Not sure when its coming back on.

https://steemd.com/distribution

I believe that Whales (orcas at least) start at 100Mv or about 50,000 Steem Power. If someone has a better answer please let me know.

Gratulation . Next stop Orca :)

A lot of hard work from now until then but yes hopefully @tzap90

full steem ahead!

As I can see you already participate one year in this game. I am sure you are on the best way to your self-imposed target :whale: Edit.thise emoji just don't work

Gratz @streetstyle, im just a tadpole at the moment but i'm determined to turn into a minnow lol. I've been on the platform about 20 days now.

Yesterday I spent all day writing a huge post about the dambusters and it's made about 6c so far, hopefully things will get easier if I stick at it though.

Hang in there @nickdavidson It looks like you just arrived so not to worry. Also, I highly recommend an #introduceyourself post. The best ones work with a picture of yourself holding a steemit sign with the date and your user name. The community really appreciates those.

full steem ahead!

I like that picture - creative to have the Steem logo where it is.

Onward to Orca!

Thanks @lydon.sipe I am working on it.

Damn @streetstyle, digitally edited or not that is awesome. I can barely sign my name legibly lol

haha thanks @royschuh

you got it brother, keep doing you!

Yes, the picture is excellent. Thanks for sharing.
