Steemit logo and colours
The new Steemit logo and colours.
Does anyone have the colour code?
Interesting to see that it is completely seperated from #Steem the cryptocurrency logo and colours.
Looking forward to seeing what people think.

I like the idea of steemit.com and steem the currency having separate logos.
i like this, i think only less on its coloring only.
hope with the release of this new logo, could boost the price of steem forward.

I guess most people will feel that way at first but give it 6 months and it will be pretty cool when everyone has got used to it. It's natural to feel a little bit sad because it's different. It will be ok, as long as it's not chopped and changed again. Stephen
@stephenkendal you can put this as a lesson learned. After all, it is in Beta Mode, a growing company and you should certainly expect more change. A potential Billion Dollar company isn't going to stop innovating just because a few people have purchased promotional merchandise.
Hopefully this makes you appreciate the value of Digital Marketing, after all it's 2017 not 1917...

Current members, used to the old logo, will mostly not like it. New ones won't know :)
But what's with those printed promo material with the old logo? The change should be announced few months before.
I have boxes of Promotional Merchandise including: T-Shirts, Caps, Mugs, Pens, Flyers, Banners, Business Cards etc that are now effectively scrapped. The sad thing for me is that I had to cancel my trip to #Steemfest as I had spent so much money on this stuff which left me out of pocket. Stephen
i like the promotion you do of steemit - we need more people that invest their own time & $$ on promoting this platform, it's a pity we now have copyright yet we are still in beta

Why Steemit change the logo? It does not make sense to me.
#Steemit (the blogging tool) is seperating itself from #Steem (the cryptocurrency). I get it and totaaly understand exactly the reason why this is being done. Stephen
The interesting part in this update sir @stephenkendal, the beta was removed. I got interesting feeling about this update. Though, I like color blue.
Dropping the "beta" does give it that feeling of permanent now. I kind of like it. Stephen
When I first saw it, I thought there was problem with my internet. The color is cool. I think I like the previous logo better.

No, you can't print t-shirts. The new logo and its brand is intellectual property of Steemit, Inc. See @steemitblog for more info

Actually I was a bit surprised when I saw the look and steemit the newest logo now, but in my opinion steemit is continuously doing development, both in terms of quality and also appearance. I love the new look now, don't blame tries something new. ;)

I assume it represents a text bubble. Like someone saying something. The colour is different. It just needs to be something that we get used to. We will in time. Give it a few months and we will all think it's pretty cool. Stephen

I gotta say, I'm not one for obsequiousness or being a sycophant, but I fuckin' love this new design! And the nighttime filter is friggin awesome!
It looks like things are getting a bit more serious and corporate now, with the new logo being trademarked and protected as intellectual property etc.... I personally don't like new logo and colour scheme. It hurts my eyes a little because of the contrast (I am slightly red/green colourblind). I also don't like the night mode so much, but may have to get used to it.
It is now a clear separation from Steem. That's probably in line with the new SMTs etc, and other services running on the Steem Blockchain, so that Steemit isn't bundled up with Steem, and has its own identity.

Honestly I don't like the new logo, the colors used are not nice at all.
But the new logo is needed because steemit and steem are two different entities that needs to be differentiated
When i woke up..and saw the changes, i though I am still in Hangover from last nite :)

caught me by surprise. thought my computer got infected by a malware or a virus.
I really liked it.. it looks modern and clean... apart from that I don't know any other website or Social Media channel with this colour so will be great for marketing purposes..Unique and Inovative! Cheers
Hopefully the dip in the price of Steem is due to Bitcoin sucking the life out of all the other alts and not the change in theme ;)
You can use colour picker tool in Adobe PS to know the colour code.
