200,000 Registered Accounts
Now and again it is worth going up to the highest buildings, get on to the roof and call out at the top of your voice when you having something great to shout about..!!
This is one of those occasions.
STEEMIT has recently punched through 200,000 Accounts and this is a milestone that could not go without a cause for celebration.
For those ones who have recently joined STEEMIT I would like to wish you a warm welcome from us all.

Average Registered Accounts per Day - 443 Accounts
Highest Number Accounts Registered in 1 Day - 5,511 Accounts (Tue 13th June 2017)
Average Number of Accounts Registered in June - 1,874 Accounts
Days to Go to the End of the Year - 196 Days
Target Number of Accounts Year End - 550,000 Accounts
These are Stellar Numbers, cementing once again the growing strength and success of the Community.

Thanks for the support. The Target I have set at 550,000 is a conservative Target and I just wanted to keep my powder dry. The second half of the year begins in a couple of weeks and I strongly believe that what we will see in the second half will blow the first half year data out of the water..!! Stephen

Great to see. I wonder how long it will take for the following milestone numbers.
500k - 2 months
1 million - 6 months
10 million - 14 months
Very ambitious targets there but if cryptocurrencies continue to perform well and attract attention it could be possible
Going to get to a point I think where they the numbers simply take off. Be interesting firstly to see the growth at 500k. Hopefully for steem it is <2 months.

Exactly! This is still VERY early adopter phase. This could actually become HUGE
Cool! And still, despite the massive growth, such small numbers compared to other social media! We are very early all of us. Steemit is so attractive, that it's probably going to go viral at some point. We could be talking tens of millions of accounts in 2018, and the year after that perhaps even hundreds of million. Once the mainstream media gets a hold of this it will be unstoppable. I suggest you invest a little bit into Steems because 2$ a piece is nothing. It will be HARD to boost your steem power in a year or two. It will be very expensive.

With the exponential growth of steemit so far i think we can even surpass this 550,000 Accounts by end of the year and even get to 1 000,000 by end of the year!

13th of June its my bday so i am really happy that was the day with highest number accounts registered in 1 Day! Soon we will talk about register account nr. 500000! This shows how great this place is and how this community is growing! Love this place!
