Its simple. Think of a tank of water with a hose pipe filling it and a hole at the bottom. If more goes in than come out the tank will fill up. Now punch a few holes in the tank and see what happens. What the Hard Fork has done has patched a few holes at the same time expanding the tank. What we now have is a bigger tank and less holes. Hope this helps. Stephen
