you can check it out without entering keys, but it only runs for 30mins without your key. And, you ONLY should use your POSTING key. This lets autosteem do votes for you (either when you manually click upvote, or if you want to use it for automated voting) You have the option though. And your posting key is ONLY kept in YOUR browser, it is not shared ANYWHERE or on any server, as this application runs strictly in your browser, so your in control of it.

This is cool. But does that not mean that the autovoter only works as long as the browser is open?

Yup, that is how it is designed, but Autosteem is MUCH more than just autovoting. It gives you easier views of content and really, then control over the votes, since a lot of people don't like just vote following, myself included. I want the most control of it.

Cool and impressive work! I'll check it out

I have some reservations about this. Although the posting key is only stored on the browser, it could be used to upvote content of your own choosing like Steemvoter did. However, a big difference is that can't happen if you close the autosteem broswer, so users have ultimate control in that way too besides not even providing their posting key.

Nice work, keep it up!

PS - Just tried it out and I am very impressed. Now for the first time I am able to see how many Vests I have, which nobody can see unless they use the cli wallet. If I'm wrong about that somebody please set me straight. I have looked for this in the wallet and UI so if it's visible somewhere I can't find it.

thansk full-steem, glad to hear your comments and concerns. To be clear, autosteem DOES require a vote payment to use with your posting key, it autovotes my blog posts when they are still earning first payout.

And for the Vests, you can see that on Steemd.com as well, but the site has been down today. under the profile links in autosteem, you can link to a few of these other useful tools to view your stats.

The vests are visible using steemdb.com & steemd.com among other tools that you can link from in the Steem App Center

thanks for the clarification.
