I agree. I can accept relevant comments that say 'by the way, you may be interested in what I'm doing', but just spamming the system will get you flagged. Up voting your own comments is a little arrogant. It's up to the community to decide what behaviour is acceptable

I did not upvote my comment for more than a year, then I realized than I did not used all of my upvotes and I though that those upvotes could be better used to produce renewable energy. I also realized that many whales are upvoting there own comments. By the way, you may be interested in what I am doing.
I gave up on upvoting myself a while back. I'd rather support others. Just because whales do it doesn't mean we should. I do support renewables, but I've not looked into your project yet.
