Wise words. I've been here a year and I too made very little to start with. I think I struggled to make a few dollars in the first couple of months. I've gradually built up a following who seem to enjoy what I do. I've been pretty careful to post stuff that I believe in. We have to remember that anything on the blockchain is there forever and your mistakes can come back to haunt you.

I think the best strategyis to make it fun for yourself. Then the rewards are just a bonus.
