Bitcoin is pretty well known now and it's trusted by lots of people. We can tell them Steem is like that, but better. By using Steemit you are 'mining' Steem. The concepts are a bit weird, but we can show it works.

Yea it really is - its surprising that people have so much trust in bitcoin, I feel like a few years ago everybody was still looking at it as some kind of scam or joke.
