This video has some suggestions of how you can get images into your posts on Steemit. The site does not host them, so they need to be somewhere else on-line. I use:
- Dropbox
- Google Photos
- Keybase. Give me a shout if you want an invitation. Details of my script in a previous post
- I looked at Steemimg, but never got the verification email. Update: @blueorgy has verified my account now so I can use it.
I recorded this video using Vokoscreen on Ubuntu. I realised I was exposing some email addresses that I didn't want public, so I used Kdenlive to do a bit of editing and blur parts of the screen. I had to look up some tutorials to work that out.
Thanks for the mention on the site and sorry that you didn't receive the confirm email, I thought I had resolved this!! I will have look into it further why a few people just never receive it. If anyone else has this problem please find me on steemit.chat under this same name and i'll get you verified!

Cool. There's lots of ways to do it really.
Steemimg.com is an image hosting site setup specifically for Steemit. Registration is free, upload is simple. Once the image has been dragged and dropped it will upload and render a drop down menu, select a category to place the image under and hit the UPLOAD button. After it cycles another drop down menu will open titled "Viewer Links," click on this and select "Markdown Full," then select the "COPY" button in the upper right corner of the link window. Paste this directly into the Steemit blog window and your image will appear. Good Luck!

Did you happen to check your SPAM folders...there's a better than average chance the email confirmation is in a folder other than your inbox.
