Yuppppppp - learned that same lesson last week when I transferred 156 Steem to Poliniex instead of Poloniex. Double-check, triple-check before transferring.

The scammy (haha - autocorrect said "scummy") accounts are bad mojo. Some folks will trade their integrity for a couple of Steem dollars - or 156 of them.
