Prize: Free Lottery Tickets
Both the number of free tickets to be issued and the number of winners depend on how much the challenge post will make. At the moment, the general rule of the thumb is that 25% of the author rewards will be used to issue free tickets; that is 50% of the liquid dollars. However, this amount is currently capped at 40 SBD which means the maximum number of free tickets to be issued through this challenge is forty 1-SBD tickets. Please note that the current allocations are subject to change in the future.
The Lottery
The lottery will take place live on YouTube once the appropriate number of tickets are issued. Challenge winners can win more than one ticket for a lottery which will increase their chances of winning the lottery. Once the appropriate amount of tickets are issued, a live YouTube video will be scheduled for a very close future date and time, and then the lottery will take place live on YouTube and the results will be posted here as well.
Example
All you need to do is to make sense of the data by replacing the plus signs with an appropriate mathematical sign such as plus, minus, divide or multiply. You may also need to add brackets, just like below. Once you're able to make sense of the data, you should be able to replace the question marks with the appropriate numbers. Following is an example to give beginners an idea of what this all means in action.
Challenge:
1 + 2 + 5 = 15
4 + 1 + 4 = 20
3 + 2 + 1 = ??
Answer:
(1 + 2) × 5 = 15
(4 + 1) × 4 = 20
(3 + 2) × 3 = 15
Comment:
The final answer is therefore 15. Your comment should be "15" alone(without the quotation marks obviously). Nothing more and nothing less, otherwise the script will not pick it up. In case there are no eligible participants, or winners, all the promised money in the prize pool will be donated to @steemitlotteries.
Important Note:
This is the first challenge. #1 is just a trial and therefore, it includes the rules as well as the answer. To enter the draw, make sure you read the post and understand the rules and comment the answer which can be found in the post itself! EASY PEASY!! :]
