Promoting Steemit on a larger scale can bring wonderful results.

In the previous promotions Steemit Ashanti has undertaken, the target population was considerably small, " to test the market". Upon this realization, the group has decided to embark on a Steemit promotion with a bigger target population, "the big bang".

A Visit to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)

KNUST is a public university located in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

It is one of the largest universities in the country. With over 20,000 students, undergraduates and postgraduates, KNUST is indeed a large community and full of people can that relate to the steemit world.

The promotional visit is slated on Wednesday, 21st March 2018.

As part of the university's hall week celebrations, there would be many activities that will bring many students outdoors and on campus streets.

This promotion would be a street campaign where students and other people present will be approached by members of the @steemitashanti community

Already a pre-campaign whatsapp group has been created where we have been joined by close to 150 students in the university

Steemit flyers will be distributed to show and create awareness.

Also, those who sign up in the group will be able to come around and get more info for experienced @steemitashanti members

Also all steemians will in their famous Steemit Ghana t-shirts, which always tell the whole story in a flash

Our target is to reach out to not less than 500 students and hope to pique the interest of about 200 - 300 to be retained.

We call on the global #steemit community to keep an eye out and support all the newbies when they finally join us.
