RE: A Short Voting Strategy - Post HardFork 19

in #steemit7 years ago

Well , I have a mix of feelings about HF19
On one side is great to get biggest rewards
But in the other I see how beginners are getting very few votes and it may discourage them to stay more on steemit
I

Sort:

But the votes are really meaningful. It's better to have 10 votes totaling 20 cents, like it s now, than to have 200 votes totalizing 1 dollar (as it was before, with the inflation of bots).

Yes, that is a good point
But for new people, who can not adjust their voting power it means they can just vote 10 times instead of 40 , so they will interact less with other steemians
Also , p.e. in your case you are giving 70% of your votes to people you know or you want to support to , so there is just a 30% which goes to contents you consider are worthy (don take this as a critic to your strategy)
And just a question since I know you are better informed than me
Are the whales still on the "no-voting" experiment?because in this case the reward will be reduced once they vote again

What do you think about this?
