Usually it's a photo that's taken and treated this way, because they're so realistic, and because they're so plentiful on the internet today. But yeah, photographers are artists too, and own their photos, and even if it's a matter of a split-second to take a photo, it's the result of lots of talent, investment in training, and equipment, and we shouldn't steal their art either. :)
