I just have one question..... aside from on Steemit, WHO has really even heard of Dollar Vigilante?
Whether he is only acting like a galactic douche in a satire-style way or if he's really serious that he's a wanna-be big baller that treats people like shit.... does it matter? Every post the guy gets is earning 3,000 to 15,000 dollars....
I'm not jealous of the guy.... my goodness if I were like that guy I'd need to overhaul my life.... right in the face.... with a sledgehammer.
No, the thing that irks me about this guy is the fact that he acts ridiculously famous even though I don't know a single person that's ever heard of the guy outside of acting like a celebrity on Steemit.
Are we really upvoting things that are worth an upvote? Sure his posts are laid out nicely and are easy to read, minus the fact that they are nauseating and you can only read someone praise themselves so much that it becomes a chore to read eventually.
This post may not be popular since I'm sure a ton of people will disagree with me and love this guy for some reason but there have to be others out there that just feel like Steemit is going to be hurt from people like this.
Making get rich quick posts turning Steemit into a mad rush to get yourself a quick little part-time job will only result in people eagerly joining Steemit and then bailing after 2 weeks of only earning $3.68 for their original content.
I just think this guy gives a totally wrong message about Steemit and if he starts ever making the same amount of money the rest of us are earning...... then he'd probably leave in a heartbeat...
Am I off on my assessment here or is everyone else in love with the guy and just love seeing his repetetive 'I'm rich and your'e not' posts?
I don't think people should flag his posts unless his content is stolen or illegal. That is the kind of behavior that has ruined Reddit. The place is full of brigading, ban happy mods, and admins who try to force their political or social narrative on the user-base.
All I'm saying is he acts pretty damn douchey.... I doubt anyone could argue with that.... but it could be on purpose... an act... whatever, I don't care.... what I do think is significant is that his posts ARE NOT worth 15,000 dollars! I think after a whale or two upvotes his posts there is a mass of people that flock to upvote it hoping they will take part in his reward and get 15 cents off upvoting the post... and that's kind of sad if that's the case.
Yes, he's actually very smart and been right many times over. He does exactly what he does to get you to react exactly how you have! The fact that you have talked about him just gives him more attention, that's why he does it!
It irritates me to see his repetetive posts that are really not infused with all that much helpful information get so many upvotes and $$$ but then I read an article about a hard at work programmer for Steemit working on making Steemit better and that gets $0.71? Screw that..
He was popular before he ever tried Steemit. I read/listen to alternative media all the time about the financial collapse that is coming and investing. I've watched several of his videos and read his articles along with many other advisors over the years.
Research beyond the knowledge of your friends.
He's so awesome that his latest post has been flagged 103 times and the one before it 60 times. He's a queef cookie and the steemit crowd is finally starting to see it. And btw nameles, i did goolge him to see what he was about. I found tons of youtube videos that claim he's a conartist and a scammer. So heres to your little Bernie Maddoff idol. :0)
