Hi, @nikflossus,
I'm a PSA bot for @spaminator. This is the first time I’ve seen you use the #steemit tag.
Tags help the community find relevant content.
This tag, is meant to be used when posting on topics directly related to Steemit, the website, itself.
There has been reports of people abusing it.
Some curators will immediately down vote irrelevant content.
Please use only relevant tags.

I only comment once per tag, happy steeming!
What on earth are you talking about? The whole post is about Steemit challenging Golos in a chess match. Of course @nikflossus can use steemit as a tag in the post.
We're rewording it a bit. I'm finding it hard to find a friendly way to inform users to be mindful of using certain tags.
I'm really tempted just to say: A certain whale with 120k SP and 64 reputation might downvote you with a 100% flag if they don't think your post is relevant to the website itself.
It only comments once per user.
Hi @patrice, are you part of the @spaminator team?
And that teaches me to pay attention when using multiple accounts.
Yes I am.
Hahaha! Awesome!
It's quite rude at present and I've been posting with that tag (quite correctly as well) for a long time. Now you're threatening with downvotes?
I'm not going to downvote you. If you do get downvoted heavily I might be able to help.
There are other curators downvoting users using the 'steemit' tag when the content isn't about the website.
I apologize our comment wasn't clear. You won't see the comment again.
Okay, since I do not know what is or can be used in the steemit tag, I will edit it out of the post I just made about how happy I was to get to 100SP. Any other tags we should be wary of using? Can I use the steem tag, since I talk about steem? I like what you do, but someone should really come up with a Steemit page letting us know how to use the "Special " tags, because like everyone else I see this post as promoting steemit, and being about steemit. Here is where I will probably be slammed down:" A certain whale with 120k SP and 64 reputation " does not like how the tag is being used then that WHALE needs to approach whoever is responsible for the Steemit FAQ page and have HIS/HER rules for that tag clearly stated. I am still new, and am getting pretty fed up with trying to find each and every whales private little rules, and their petty little squabbles spilling over into the general population of steemit users. Sorry for the rant @nikflossus, and sorry for ranting at you also @patrice. But them whales need to learn that steemit is not just about them.
You tell them!
I'm not sure you can get more steemit related than this post.
