How To Write A Quality Steemit Post that everyone will like

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

We all want to get on that trendig page to get some of this awesome steem for ourselves. The Spot that other people will get jealous over and would kill for. I noticed that a lot of new members joined the platform. And I just wanted to give something back to this awesome community. So without further ado - I will present you the top tips to write a quality steemit post that everyone will like.

1. Heading

The heading is the first thing people will see. So the heading is very important, this is your chance to draw attention and make the person vote. Just be creative and don't overcomplicate things.

A short heading that says's all about the post will always perform better than a long heading with filler words. At the same time, the heading should not be plain so that it wouldn't get lost in the depth of steemit website.

2. Images

There is actually something more important than the heading, that people will look out for. Some of steemers neglect the necessity of adding some image to their post which is a big mistake. Images can say more than 1000 words.

The wrong placement of Pictures can ruin your whole text and the experience of the user. The picture should be eye-catching and still be relevant to the post you are writing. You can play around with different coloring and see what works for you.

Check the top articles on the front page yourself and see how each of them has 2-3 images or even more. Find 8-10 images that can be used in your post and decide which of them are the most appropriate. Don't use too many Pictures in your post.

3. Post Length

Most of the users even read your post till the end - they get either bored or not satisfied with your post. If you really need to put out this 10,000-word post then split it up into different parts and release it that way. A good post should be around 400-500 words, but it can vary from person to person.

4. Don't worry about what's making money

Don't spend your time looking for the next big money maker. It doesn't help you if you search on the trending page for what's already making money. These posts change quite often, new and original ideas get to trending every day. So instead of trying to write about a topic that's popular now, write about the next popular topic.

5. Choose the right tags

You should carefully pick 5 tags that you think are relevant to the post - and really relevant. Don't go on and pick the most popular tags just because they are popular. Try to write the popular tags that you see on the right of the steemit front page if they are relevant to your article. Those tags can make your post more visible to the community.

Alright, That's it for today - have a good one.
