I decided to do this social experiment to see how many responses or views my post would get .
If you noticed on Steemit most trending posts on a daily basis are from users who have an active channel on YouTube and cross post their videos on Steemit. For the most part the content the popular YouTubers make are informative, but at the same time some of the people have become pretty arrogant in their videos to the point where their Vlogs's are pointless as hell.
Like dude...I followed your channel and even "liked" your videos because they were informative and of value to me. The videos are so informative that I even decided to follow you over on Steemit and read your posts and even re-watch some videos that were posted on YouTube that same day.
With that said do we really need to see a video of you going to the store and buying groceries, or a video of you walking around the neighborhood talking about current events that have nothing to do with the content of your YouTube channel that made people follow you to begin with. Or constantly say how much money you have in BTC and other coins but then try to upsell yet another business where you give advice on what altcoins to invest in.
The bottom line is even my my 74 yr old dad who knows nothing about computers or bitcoin can blindly throw a dart at a chart of all the coins out there today and say "invest in that coin! It will go up I promise you" and chances are it will. Or I can say Invest in Litecoin, Lisk, and Cloakcoin they will make you money! No really , joking aside you should invest in those 3, they will go up, especially Lisk.
I really appreciate most of the videos you guys put out there for cryptourrency advice and the content is great but please stay in your element and refrain from posting videos of you doing your daily errands then post them on Steemit so you can make a few hundred dollars. If you do, just leave that nonsense on YouTube, you will still earn a few buck. Seriously you guys can post a picture of you eating cereal and still make more money most people make in a week or two working a full time job.
For example this is the video I made, if my name was Something-Something12345 and had over a 1K followers this video would likely make a few hundred dollars if not a thousand dollars lmao
Déjà vu?
hahaah doesn't surprise one bit. But see this guy was doing it on a tv show and getting paid. Writers must have been lazy that episode and wanted to cash an easy check
I know right?!
I agree with you. Some big people on Steemit are selfish. And yes observed videos posts goes viral
Yeah it is like a status thing. If you look at the ones with the highest amount of followers most of them rarely follow anyone. Like they see that they are above following others on the site and think they ARE the reason for a sites success when reality the common people make a site and themselves successful. Just wait till word spreads to the wanna be Instagram celebs about Steemit. It will be very interesting then
yes...
We need to teach and learn the self empowerment that ends the obsessions with 'personality' and the following that it creates.
That would be great if we could, unfortunately the design of social media over the year has made it where they condition people especially the younger generation growing up to look up the select few whales on social media. What better way to control the masses than to plant a few popular celebrities on these social media sites and pay them to push products and advertise for them. In my lifetime I have learned many people are just fine with giving up their power of choice and rather have someone else make their choices for them so their life can be easier
Defusing this cult bomb is quite simple to do when we learn the underlying mechanics involved - although I do have a degree in systems engineering and 15 years of experience behind me, so maybe my perspective is a bit different to most. The huge problem is that a kind of spiritual vampiric pyramid is created where the energy of millions can be channelled in particular directions just with subtle nudges here and there in between irrelevant (and usually incorrect) tibdits of information.
Here's my highly informed and highly relevant 'top tip' for this issue ;)
By starting with the absolute KNOWING that YOU EXIST, you will have a 'tuning fork' against which to compare the feeling of any other information you encounter, to know whether you really know that this other idea is true or not. That's definitely an idea worth sharing. In fact, I will post on it later today as I continue to built the balanced power sphere that squishes all the BS power pyramids. hehe :P
Hehehehe. As long as they are not narcissistic, they should understand. If they are, wait for a heavy hammer of injustice to fall upon your post.=)
Lol still waiting ;P
