I wouldn't concentrate on followers @gillianpearce I know everybody else says otherwise but most of the people arent active or very supportive, if hunting for followers find those who have been most active and been here a good while. Apart from that you will mostly get leechers and people just wanting follow backs. That's great sign of your activity on Steemit well done, thanks for the supprt @gillianpearce (2000) is the big one now.

I'm not focused on getting followers in terms of numbers at all @simonjay. As you say, most of them are just chancers.
I won a delegation last week for my commenting efforts which was very gratifying as that is where my main focus is, that and getting to 500 SP.
I have yet to buy Steem although I am considering it. I actually quite like to play the game of seeing what I can do without buying. But then I see others leap ahead by doing so and I get a bit discouraged.

Its the best mindset @gillianpearce I just celebrate the goals reached even if I was not working on that particular achievement, yes like yourself my focus is on SP getting to Dolphin is my goal but with the price being so much higher these days getting to 500sp or 5000 is so much harder. That's why this lower price isn't bad as people make it out to be, haha yes that game I know what you mean most of us play at trying to gain without buying.
I'm wondering if it will get below $3. That might be my cue to buy. I doubt it though as when it gets there I will be thinking - maybe it will go lower. That is why I am not good as this currency game. I would need to come up with a strategy and then stick to it! 😊
Yea @gillianpearce if you saw my report last night then you will know its under $3 and I know exactly what you mean there is always the question of what if? What if it goes lower? That's what I would do, see what you can afford, how much you want, and if it reaches that low go for it and buy some.

I keep meaning to set up the accounts I need to buy and then get distracted.
Hopefully it will keep going down while I'm getting around to that. Working out what I am willing to invest is also a good move. I have about $500 in mind which won't buy me anywhere near the Steem Power I would like but, would at least be a start! 😊
