I have Steem dollars and want to send it to my poloniex account.
What should I do?
Do I have to convert everything (Steem dollars-->STEEM) to STEEM and then send or can i send steem dollars directly?

Best way is to convert ur sbd to steem here and then send to poloniex and then exchange them for bitcoin. If you have any problem feel free to call me
What I have observed is both STEEM and SBD can be sent to poloniex and both can be convereted to BTC in poloneix, currently they have suspended both. So we will have to wait a little bit.

No, send STEEM Dollars (SBD) to @poloniex and type your wallet address in the description box.

Send as Steem. Trade the dollars to steem and then you can send! :)
DON'T SEND STEEM TO POLONIEX NOW! They temporarily suspended STEEM/SBD deposits. Wait until they'll enable them again. I'm waiting two days already after sending mine.
