Hi! Hello! I hope you're all doing swell! 

I'm Joyce, and I am currently a student graphic designer attending university! I am also one of the graphic designers for my school's technology production company which produces all of the online classes and programs for our professors! 

So.. Who we talkin about? 

Now, I'm sure you're all wondering what I splurged on and what this post is all about. Well, as a graphic designer, I must say that we are thoroughly involved in using all or most Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc. 

I TAKE PRIDE IN BEING AN ADOBE GEEK!!

But honestly, I'm still very elementary at everything, and the tasks I'm given are usually just the cleaning up and leftovers from our head designers before things are processed and uploaded as a final step. Basically, I don't have much room to get creative and expand my knowledge of what I can do with the programs. 

But yesterday, that all changed. THANK YOU STEEM!!

Yeah, so what did I buy? WHAT DID I BUY?!!!!!!

I promise, I'll get to that in a second. I wanted to talk about my first payout!! I've been trying to save up for this "object" for like months now, but always end up having almost no money left after I pay for gas and groceries and perhaps a couple dates here and there. My goal was to save up $300 by the end of the summer, (it's not that great of a sum. I know.) but I don't work full-time, and I didn't have room to save and socialize. I currently had around $150 in my bank account, and that's when I discovered Steem. Like most others, I decided to begin with an introductory post, and OH MY GOODNESS. Let me tell you. I basically made a little over the exact amount I needed to afford my new toy.. So thank you Steem. Thank you community. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME. 

So FINALLY.... THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR.

SAY HELLO TO MY.... 

NEW WACOM TABLET!!!! 

Now if you're all wondering what this is, this is a drawing tablet. It's called a Wacom Intuos Pro drawing tablet, and basically, IT LETS ME DRAW ON THE COMPUTER LIKE I'D DRAW ON PAPER!! I'd used one at work before, and let me tell you: IT CHANGED MY LIFE. 

Ok....?

If you're wondering why I needed this, I have to state the fact that it is quite difficult to draw with a mouse. Like seriously. Drawing with a tablet the first time was quite the challenge too. My first drawing I ever did on a tablet was a few weeks back at work. Here's what it looked like..

Yeah.. It was quite a fail. I've done a few more drawings here and there, and I had this in my first post, but this is the train I did! (And if you're all wondering, I used the one at work to make this one hehe.) 

But you know what, yesterday, I was able to purchase my own. You guys have know idea what this means to me. I've literally been obsessed and have been playing with my tablet all day today. It's a slow process, but I'm slowly making progress! Here's a sneak-peek of what it looked like when I was making the pinup girl. 

Had to censor this one in case it got flagged.. But let me tell you, the breasts are quite lovely. But the risk of getting flagged was too much.

But yeah, once again. 

Thank you Steem! You guys have literally made my dream come true. This was my chance to be able to combine my drawing skills with my computer skills. I look forward to making progress (cause I'm still not used to drawing with a tablet yet which is why my pictures aren't that great). I will be sure to post more about my journey as a designer in the future and will continue to try to make ads like this to post places! We must expand our Steem community! Let me know in the comments what you think of my drawings, and some new future drawing ideas :) I want to be able to contribute many more graphics and drawings in the future.
