Feeling sad about the market dip? Let's have a party!

Hey Steemians,

Feeling blue? Keep creating! I know this decline in value of Steem has you feeling like you have lost value, but you haven't. Please remember engagement is what determines value on Steemit. Are you getting good engagement? Great. Is your platform still growing even though your numbers are shrinking? Stick with it.

Community is not based on money. Sure, we can reward each other here. And, yes, some of us make at least part of our living on Steemit, but Steemit is a hub for global voices. We can do so much more than earn financially!

I'm going to help you out right now by throwing a party. Here's the deal: I will make a list below that points you in the direction of some guaranteed good reads/listens/views. Find a new friend, expand your community, and keep your chin up. Then share a handle in comments of someone we should all follow. Obviously your comment means I'm going to check out your account. @Raymondspeaks is my bestie across the pond. He does podcasts. People, he has a SCOTTISH BROGUE! As if that weren't enough reason to tune in, he is working to dismantle his internalized patriarchal ideas and shed light on the intersections of relationships and mental health. He's also crypto-crazy.

@sumayyahsaidso documents her progress as a visual artist, makes the BEST jewelry (I kid you not. Please buy me all her earrings as gifts.) She is also a talented poet who tackles a diverse array of social justice issues that never fail to stir my heart.

And speaking of poetry, go read @poetrybyjeremy. You will not be disappointed. He is currently publishing selections from his book, and they are worth the look-see.

There are SO MANY people I want to connect you with. @jaynie and @aschatria run Discord servers that support writers on Steemit.
