In my opinion a simpler solutions is for people to build their following here but still keep in touch in other social networks like twitter and facebook. Where the steem content can be shared. That way people that really love some content can follow their favourite creators and also get their updates on that social networks. Allowing as well the steem content getting more attention and visualizations from outside the steemit world. 😁
