If that's the case would you say it's not wise to post something at say 3am? I know a lot of times I'll stay up late working on something and be really excited to get it out there so will post it, however it seems like it may be wise to wait to post until a time when more people are on and active?

It seems like that would be the case... I'm holding back a post right now because I don't want it to disappear into the ether before tomorrow morning...I was reading an article from another Steemian that showed a chart indicating that 2pm was the most popular time to get votes.

Hey @jorlauski I think its ironic that your replying to this post as I was always curious about whether regardless of whether old posts earn, are they even seen?

If you don't mind my asking how did you find this post via search?

Anyhow its good to see old posts at least get seen even if they don't earn money. I feel you on holding back posts, we could really use a post scheduling tool because a lot of times I wont post a post late at night because I'm waiting for a more ideal time.

I found this post by typing into google " is it true that steemit post stop getting paid after 7 days? " and this article came up - I read it and didn't even think about it when it was posted. But I still got .07 from your upvote , so THANK YOU! Seems like there is no time limit on curating which is nice....

Hey buddy glad to hear that steemit posts are ranking in google. seems they are more and more these days. this was actually my most successful steemit post to date i think the payout was like $74 which is odd as i put out a lot of content and this post was only asking a question lol but im not complaining lol.

I guess that shows the power of longtail keywords.

yeah thats one cool thing about steemit is even after a post is dead you can still get paid off comments both from the poster and people replying.

I was just thinking earlier that most of the Steem related subjects I look up on google are articles directly on Steemit - seems like Steemit community knows the most about it!

you got 0.07 for upvote, because new comments are considered as new article and have also a 7 days
rewards life.
